ARKITEKTONIC COLLECTION

The Architectonic Collection was inspired by cantilever architecture, where balance was a fundamental element. This architecture changes our understanding of structural balance. Similarly, the collection’s goal was to achieve balance through touch and contrast.

We strived to create a sense of balance by selecting a mix of materials that fit the architectural nature of the collection’s design. The angularity of the design features was softened by choosing organic materials such as wood and leather. The collection succeeded in evoking a sense of balance by counterbalancing the robust metal surfaces with the warmth of organic materials.

With a wide range of finishes, we also offered a solid metal option, creating contrast through the use of our engraved patterns. In keeping with our theme, this particular combination provided a sense of structure through the material, while providing warmth through the subtle texture of the handles.
